IWRA World Water Congress Side Event Innovative Rural Sanitation Management

The onsite seminar takes place as part of the International Water Resources’ Association World Water Congress in Beijing and is co-hosted by ADB and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with participation of Institute of Agriculture Resources and Regional Planning of the CAAS and international and national experts. The objectives of this seminar are to:
- Introduce the Digital Practice Guideline for RWWM (www.irwwm.com);
- Pilot Study on Rural Sanitation and Environmental Management in Shanxi Province;
- Review the Institutional Arrangement and Regulatory Framework for Rural Wastewater Management in PRC;
- Promote Public Consultation during Rural Sanitation Management;
- Introduce Financial Incentive Mechanism for Rural Wastewater and Solid Waste Management
