RKSI Supports the 7th North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on Sustainable Development Goals 2023

On 20-22 November, the event organized by UNESCAP and Center for International Knowledge on Development was held in Beijing. More than 70 delegates from six countries are taking part in the subregional forum to share their views and provide recommendations on how to accelerate the progress towards Goal 1 (No poverty), Goal 2 (Zero hunger), Goal 13 (Climate action), Goal 16 (Peace, justice, and strong Institutions) and Goal 17 (Partnership for the goals).  

RKSI invited Oleksiy Ivaschenko, Senior Social Protection and Jobs Specialist from ADB joined the event, he shares the long-term trends in poverty reduction in the Asia and Pacific region, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and increased cost of living on achieving SDG 1 (no poverty).
