The PRC’s CO2 Emission State of Play

What is the PRC’s current state of CO2 emission? What is the country doing to reduce its emission? What more will the country do to achieve its carbon peak goal before 2030 and carbon neutrality goal before 2060? Are these targets achievable? Our infographics attempt to shed some light on these questions.

Electric Vehicles: Decarbonization Frontier

Electrification of vehicles is a key frontier in many countries’ effort in reducing carbon emissions—and for good reasons. The PRC is no exception and is in fact leading the world in this front. This infographic is developed along this year’s decarbonization theme of ADB East Asia Department’s flagship event, the East Asia Forum. It also marks the launch of the East Asia Graphics Series, where RKSI will share the PRC’s development stories in interesting graphics, charts, and analysis.
